Distance
There was a moment of train excitement when we almost missed the stop in Littleborough but we made it off the train, much to the amusement of the conductor.
We took the official detour out of town and up on to the moors. The gates through the farm were fine.
The early promise of sunshine disappeared into clouds but it was fine, although wet and muddy underfoot this did mean that the waterfalls at the Fairies Chapel in Healey Dell was impressive.
